A bay area native, I've been offering personal training services since 2008. I hold a masters in performance psychology and certificate in nutrition from Precision Nutrition. Combining my background in personal training with a focus on psychology and nutrition has allowed me to effectively create lasting and meaningful behavioral changes for my clients.
Within fitness sessions, I seek to provide enjoyable and purposeful movements, focused progression to your fitness goals, and a pathway to self -acceptance and awareness.
Sessions include functional exercises, weekly planning (i.e. having a game plan for 2 holiday parties in one week), positive reinforcement of accomplishments, and reflective questions for evaluation and personal growth. I believe success happens not when one feels motivated to change, but rather when they have already committed to the process.
I collaborate with clients to ensure plans are customized to each person's unique strengths. Clients often enjoy the structure of our collaborative plans because they increase accountability for achieving goals.
